Change of the hardware version from 1I => 1J, DP-V1 communication is not possible
Which products are affected? EMF2133IB AIF communication module, hardware version 1I
Behaviour of the new version? The DP-V1 function can be used without problems with the new hardware version 1J. The new material number is 3461993.
What happens? The DP-V1 communication (acyclic parameter communication) cannot be used with hardware version 1I. The problem occurs immediately when the PLC tries to estabish an acyclic DP-V1 communication with the module.
Possible diagnostics? The Profibus master signals to the PLC that the DP-V1 communication with the Profibus device is not possible.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
The communication module is equipped with the DRIVECOM parameter channel. This channel could also be used for parameter communication.
Evaluation: The error occurs immediately when the DP-V1 function is used.
