Functional description
In C412 Hiperface: initialisation time, the initialisation time of C412=1200ms required for these encoders can be parameterised. The Lenze setting is C412=650ms according to the original Sick Hiperface® specification.
For further encoders with a prolonged initialisation time, the initialisation time required in each case can be gathered from the associated absolute value encoder data sheet.
Applications
A Hiperface® encoder with an initialisation time deviating from the Hiperface® specification is to be used on the controller. This affects for instance the absolute value encoders of the SEK37, SEL37, SEK52, and SEL52 type by the company Sick.
