C431/1 can be used to set in a bit coded fashion the encoder monitoring functions which, when they are triggered, can set the status of bFail=TRUE. The following monitoring functions can be selected:
· Position outside C1112/2..3
· Communication error
· Open encoder circuit
· Angle drift error
· Open KTY circuit
Applications
Selective evaluation of encoder errors in the application. Via this status it can be detected whether a monitoring function responds even if the monitoring response is set to 'No response'.
