The function is an extension of the safe tip mode function.
After pressing the enable switch and activating the travel command the motor is only allowed to maximally traverse a max. of specified increments.
A safe stop function must be effective before reaching the limit value.
The travel command must be reissued in order to further move the motor.

Applications The function is used with machines in case of which it may happen that the operator is in danger to get caught (e. g. if the safety door is open) if the manual operating mode is used.
