Signalling of missing PDOs at the LS_SyncInput (remedied from V8.0)

Eliminated from:
9400 HighLine firmware version ≤ V08.00.24.00

Behaviour of the new version?
The SYNC_bProcessDataExpected and SYNC_bProcessDataInvalid telegram failure detection flags of the LS_SyncInput block are now also CAN-controlled.
Bit SYNC_bProcessDataExpected is set to TRUE for one application cycle if a synchronous PDO was expected for this sync cycle. Bit SYNC_bProcessDataInvalid is set to TRUE for one application cycle if a process datum was expected but an incorrect or no synchronous PDO at all was received.
Since this feature can be used for all buses, it is only active for the bus which has been selected as sync source for the drive.
This only holds true for synchronous PDOs, which means that they must be of transport type 1 to 240.

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine firmware version ≤ V07.01.06.00

What happens?
If process data are missing, the SYNC_bProcessDataExpected and SYNC_bProcessDataInvalid signals are only provided for EtherCAT. However, they must also be displayed for all other bus systems which are available on 9400.

When does the problem occur?
In the case of bus communication failure or individual telegram failures.

Possible diagnostics?
None

Short-term measures/recommendations?
None

Evaluation:
Telegram failure detection can only be realised through complex interconnections in the application.
