Remedied from:
8400 HighLine SW V2.00 onwards
Behaviour of the new version?
The above-named software version rectifies this functional restriction.
Which products are affected?
8400 HighLine SW ≤ V1.00
What happens?
A wrong value for the target position is indicated in the positioning profile if the 'Teach position' function is used at the Motion Control Kernel' in order to enter a position target, which has been defined externally via process data, into a positioning profile selected.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs in the 'Table positioning' application if the 'Teach position' function is used to select externally via process data a new target position for a positioning profile. After 'teaching' the position (L-C01301/1..15) the original value is displayed although the 'teached' position is active in the background.
Possible diagnostics?
Compare the target position in the corresponding profile set (L-C01301/1..15) before and after teaching.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
This function restriction only affects displayed values. The 'mechanical' position of the drive is correct.
