An abort of the identification of pole position does not trigger the error response parameterised in C00640 (remedied from V7.0)

Eliminated from:
9400 HighLine SW V07.00.30.00

Behaviour of the new version?
If the pole position identification is aborted, the error message parameterised in C00640 is triggered correctly.

<hr>

Which products are affected?
9400 HighLine SW ≥ V 04.00.21.00 and ≤ V05.01.01.00
9400 StateLine SW V4.0.
Code C00640 is not available in firmware versions < V4.0.

What happens?
The behaviour parameterised in C00640 will not be performed if the identification of pole position has failed.

When does the problem occur?
The behaviour may occur sporadically if the identification of pole position is aborted (e.g. by a controller inhibit).

Possible diagnostics?
The behaviour parameterised in C00640 does not occur if the identification of pole position is aborted.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
In parallel to the function parameterised in C00640 which is not performed safely as described, a logbook entry is created which is not affected by the function restriction described and can therefore be evaluated safely. The following logbook entry is created: Identification of pole position aborted.

Evaluation
Check whether an identification of pole position has been aborted by checking the logbook for the Identification of pole position aborted entry. If there is no such entry in the logbook, the identification of pole position has been performed successfully! Faulty rotor position adjustments may cause uncontrollable motor movements.
