Control word Ctrl1 and digital inputs DI1..DI4, signals now OR¨d (V2.0 onwards)
Function extension:
The control signals from control word Ctrl1 and from digital inputs DI1..DI4, which have the same functions, are OR processed from Posi&Shaft V2.0 onwards.
Previously, signals from digital inputs took priority over control bits, and as a result of that the control bits of the control word with the same function were inactive, depending on the mapping of the digital inputs. Control is now possible with control word Ctrl1 via CAN bus or fieldbus' which is virtually independent (OR operation) of the function assignment (mapping) of the digital inputs.
