What happens?
Fault message FAIL QSP (P14) following error is triggered.
When does the problem occur?
If continuous manual jog with S-shaped ramps has been activated and if the point is reached where the counters are internally reset to enable continuous travelling.
This point is reached after traversing half of the distance which is maximally possible in the absolute positioning mode.
Possible diagnostics?
After traversing in manual jog mode for quite some time, the fault message FAIL QSP (P14) following error is triggered.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
Switch over to linear ramps during manual operation or interrupt the manual jog temporarily to reset the counters.
Evaluation:
The possibility to switch over to linear ramps during manual operation (by using function block interconnections if applicable) provides an efficient remedial measure to implement the required continuous manual jog.
