Pressing function keys at the same time

Which products are affected?
ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer V1.7)
EPM-H605 (Hand-held unit)
EPM-H606 (Hand-held unit)

What happens?
If opposite function keys (F1... F10) are pressed at the same time, a touch key on the operating page may be 'activated'.

When does the problem occur?
The function keys and the operating page are covered by an analog touch foil. The touch position of this foil is evaluated via a change in resistance. If several positions on the foil are touched at the same time, a change in position is caused. Based on this change, the keypad calculates a position which does not correspond to one of the positions touched.
If two opposite function keys are pressed at the same time, the keypad calculates a touch position located in the middle of the operating page. If a touch key is placed there, it will be  'activated'.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
When configuring the keypad, try to avoid that function keys must be pressed at the same time or if this cannot be excluded, do not place a touch key on the operating page if possible.

Evaluation:
If function keys of the keypad are pressed at the same time, an unrequested activation of the touch key on the operating page may be the result.
