Motor data assistant with third-party motors faulty (remedied from V4.10 SP4)

Behaviour of the new version?
With Service Pack 4 for GDC version 4.10, the parameters C0011 and C0596 are not transmitted when their value is 0.



Which products are affected?
GDC V4.10 SP2, GDCeasy V4.10 SP2 in combination with third-party motors

What happens?
When the motor data assistant has been closed the GDC displays the error message 'Value range violation'.

When does the problem occur?
In the GDC motor data assistant third-party motors can be selected. When the assistant has been completed the values are adopted automatically in the GDC codes and the parameters L-C0011 and L-C0596 are set to 0. According to the defined value range this value is not permitted.

Possible diagnostics?
The error message 'Value range violation' at the end of the data entry executed by means of the motor data assistant is an indicator that the problem describe above has occurred.
