Incorrect speed acceptance with the function block L_CamVMasterPosition in single cycle mode

Which products are affected?
ESP-SPAC-CAM1 – Cam V2.0 software package (library LenzeCamControl1V0200.lib, cam template)

What does the response look like?
The speed altered by the user for the virtual master (function block L_CamVMasterPosition, signal input nIn_v) is not accepted. Instead, a speed value between zero and the specified speed value is set.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if
  • the input variable byMode has the value 1 (single cycle mode) and
  • the speed value at the input variable nNIn_v is altered while the function block is already running up to a different master speed.

Diagnostics options?
Compare the initial speed nNOut_v with the master speed setpoint, which is specified at the input variable nNIn_v. If the value at the output nNOut_v no longer changes, but does not equal the setpoint at the input signal nIn_v, the described functional restriction has occurred.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Avoid changing the master speed setpoint nNIn_v while a single cycle is active. Only alter the master speed setpoint at standstill.

Evaluation:
The problem only occurs in the conditions described above. With applications in which a master speed setpoint change is to take place, this change must be made at standstill.
