What happens?
When the parameter set is downloaded the message window of the GD Loader indicates the following message:
The parameter transfer cannot be executed. Error! (C400h)
When does the problem occur?
The response described before occurs when the GD Loader is used to load a parameter set, which has been generated for an older software version (firmware) of the 9300 standard servo, into the current version 7.0 of the 9300 standard servo.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
- Use the Global Drive Control to download the parameter set.
- Use the Global Drive Control to convert the parameter set to the current drive controller version.
- Install the device data update 8 or higher.
Evaluation:
The GD Loader cannot download a parameter set into the current drive controller version if the parameter set has been generated for an older 9300 standard servo version. The function restriction will be eliminated with the next device data update.
