What happens?
The ECS application
Posi&Shaft V1.3 cannot be selected in the dialog
Select binary file of the Global Drive Loader.
When does the problem occur?
The reaction described above occurs, when the device data update GU4 is installed several times.
Possible diagnostics?
Open the information window (menu
Help>Info) of the Global Drive Loader and check the version designation. The installation of the device data update GU4 is shown by the expression
GU4 behind the version designation.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
- The binary file of the ECS application Posi&Shaft V1.3 is installed with the device data update GU4 in the installation directory of the Global Drive Loader (see ...\LENZE\GDLoader__3_0\bin\ECS_PosiAndShaft). By means of the dialog Select binary file the binary file can also be selected manually.
- Install the Global Drive Loader V3.0 including Service Pack 2 (SP2) and then the device data update GU5.
Evaluation:
After several installations of the device data update GU4 the selection of the ECS applications of the Global Drive Loader does not contain the binary file of
Posi&Shaft V1.3 anymore. It can, however, be selected manually an loaded to an ECS axis module (see short-term measures).
