Temperature drift in the current transformer requires another offset adjustment (remedied from V7.0)

Which products are affected?
9300EP position controller V7.0
9300ES servo controller V7.0

Eliminated function restriction
In order to optimise the concentricity properties the offset adjustment of the current detection (current transformer) is automatically executed when the servo controller is switched on. The longer the controller is switched on the warmer become the components. A possibly resulting temperature drift may require that the offset values determined need to be adjusted. Worse concentricity properties may be the result. Therefore, an additional offset adjustment of the current detection is always executed when the controller is inhibited for more than 3 seconds. This time is required to ensure that there is no remanence left in the controller while the adjustment is executed.
The second condition required for the offset adjustment is that the current speed MCTRL-NACT is ≤ 5 rpm.

Which products are affected?
9300EP position controller <= V6.2
9300ES servo controller <= 6.2

What happens?
In order to optimise the concentricity properties the offset adjustment of the current detection (current transformer) is automatically executed when the servo controller is switched on. The longer the controller is switched on the warmer become the components. A possibly resulting temperature drift may require that the offset values determined need to be adjusted. Worse concentricity properties may be the result.

When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if the device has been heated up considerably compared to the point of time when the mains has been switched on for the last time.

Possible diagnostics?
The concentricity properties have become considerably worse.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Carry out another mains connection if the controller has reached its operating temperature. As a result, the offset adjustment is automatically repeated.

Evaluation:
It is expected that the drive function will only slightly be affected.
