Behaviour of new version:
The search of the device description starts in the 2nd search path. If there is no match found the search is not cancelled but continued in the standard installation directory for PDB files.

GDC 4.9, GDC 4.9 update and GDC 4.9 Easy
Function restriction?
If a second search path for PDB files is indicated in the GDC software this path is saved in the parameter set file. When this parameter set file is opened it is searched for a corresponding PDB file in this second search path for PDB files at first. If there is no match found the search is cancelled.
