Wrong values in temporary codes (remedied from B-SW V7.0)
Remedied from:
ECS axis module B-SW V7.0
Behaviour of new version?
The Parameter Monitor (DDS tab 'Resources') and the parameter setting software products (e. g. Global Drive Control) indicate the values under the codes C2500 and C2501 correctly. This means that the values under these codes correspond to the values of the absolute flag area.
Which products are affected?
ECS axis module B-SW V6.7
What happens?
Codes C2500 and C2501 are temporary codes. Their data are permanently linked with the absolute flag area of the PLC target system (e. g. C2500/1 corresponds to %MW0).
The values under codes C2500 and C2501 are indicated by factor 10000 too large by the Parameter Monitor (DDS tab Resources).
The Global Drive Control parameter setting software indicates a wrong value for the codes mentioned before.
In the absolute flag area values entered via the parameter setting software products are by factor 10000 smaller.
When does the problem occur?
The response described above always occurs when temporary codes are accessed via the parameter setting software products.
The temporary codes cannot be accessed via keypad (EMZ9371IB).
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
Only the temporary codes (C2500 and C2501) are affected by this function restriction.
Codes C2500 and C2501 cannot be saved in a mode protecting against mains failure. Therefore, these codes are rather seldom changed via the parameter setting software product in practice.
