Function description
By means of the HMI Designer all texts indicated by the keypad can be exported for translation purposes (menu item: Tools>Export to file>Export translation) and re-imported (menu item: Tools>Import from file>Import translation) afterwards. The export/import can be made in an HMI Designer-specific text format (*.TXT) and in addition to that now also in the CSV format (*.CSV). The texts are exported in the CSV format if the CSV Format check box is activated in the Text Export dialog.
A CSV file (CSV = Character Separated Values) is a text file in which easy-structured data is saved. Inside the file the individual values are separated by semicolons. The individual data sets are separated by a word wrap. The advantage of a CSV file is that it can be opened and saved by spread-sheet programs such as Microsoft Excel.
