Function description
The Edit mode tab of the Pages project component has been extended by the Invert SHIFT F-key functioning check box. Via this option it can be specified for any operating page whether the edit function (value entry) or the application-specific function (e. g. sequence change) of the function key is used as first function. The first function of a function key (F key) is the function which is executed without pressing the SHIFT key at the same time.

If the check box is deactivated, the edit functions serve as first function of the page. This corresponds to the settings of the previous HMI Designer versions.

The keypad does not indicate whether the SHIFT function of the function keys is inverted. Therefore, we recommend setting the same function key behaviour for all pages. If this is not possible, the modified operating principle of the function keys should be indicated on the screen, e. g. by means of the text SHIFT.
