Pages are not called up in the right sequence by the keypad

Which products are affected?
ESP-HMI1-P (HMI Designer V1.6 and higher)

EPM-H502 (Touch screen)
EPM-H505 (Touch screen)

What happens?
The command PROJECT – Next page calls up the page with the next higher page number. The command PROJECT – Previous page calls up the page with the next lower page number. TouchKeys can be assigned with this command so that the user can call up the next page from the current page in the HMI project when pressing the TouchKey.

It may happen that the keypad does not call up the page with the next higher or next lower page number but any other page when executing the commands mentioned before.

When does the problem occur?
The sequence with which the next page is called up via the commands PROJECT – Next page and PROJECT – Previous page does not depend on the page number but on the sequence in which the pages have been created.

Example:
If three pages have been inserted in the HMI project with the sequence Page 1 – Page 3 –Page 2 and if all three pages have a TouchKey which is assigned with the command PROJECT – Next page the pages are called in the sequence Page 1 – Page 3 – Page 2 whenever pressing this TouchKey.

The H502 and H505 touch screens are affected by this function restriction.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
Close the HMI Designer and restart the project. The HMI Designer corrects the page sequence. Compile the project and load it into the keypad. Now the commands PROJECT – Next page and PROJECT – Previous page call up the next page dependent on the page number.

Evaluation:
The commands PROJECT – Next page and PROJECT – Previous page are not called up in the correct sequence by the keypad. This function restriction can easily be avoided (see short-term measures/recommendations). Only the H502 and H505 touch screens are affected by this function restriction.
