What happens?
In the following dialog windows the buttons at the lower edge are not visible (cut):
- Dialog Device properties in the Project Manager of the HMI Designer (select drive controller, menu item: Edit>Features)
- Dialog Set Alarms/Messages Signal Positions in the Project-Editor of the HMI Designer (Menu item: Configuration>Project settings, tab Alarms or Messages, Button <…>)
- Dialog Help editor in the Project Editor of the HMI Designer (e. g. in the project component Pages, button <Settings>, tab Help page, button <Edit>)
When does the problem occur?
Dependent on the monitor setting of the Windows operating system the buttons at the lower edge of the dialog window can be cut or even invisible in case of the above-mentioned dialog windows.
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
Check the monitor setting of the Windows operating system.
Open the Display tab in the Display properties (
Start>Settings>System control>Display) dialog. Click the button <
Extension>. Adjust the size of the elements (e. g. Title bar of the active window) in such a way that the buttons of the above-mentioned dialog windows are completely visible.
Evaluation:
The buttons at the edge of three dialog windows are cut or not visible. If the buttons are visible this function restriction has no influence on the buttons' function. By modifying the monitor settings this function restriction can be eliminated.
