The amount of memory required on the hard disk is not correctly calculated during installation

Which products are affected?
ESP-DDS2-x (Global Drive PLC Developer Studio V2.x)

What happens?
The scope of supply of the Global Drive PLC Developer Studio (DDS) includes other programs apart from DDS such as Global Drive Control easy, Global Drive Loader, etc. When installing, the user can decide which programs are to be installed. The installation program shows the amount of memory on the hard disk required by each program as well as the sum of memory required by all programs to be installed.

The installation program does not correctly calculate the sum of memory on the hard disk required by all programs to be installed.

When does the problem occur?
Depending on the programs to be installed using DDS, the installation program does not correctly calculate the amount of memory required on the hard disk for installation.

Possible diagnostics?
None.

Short-term measures/recommendations?
You will find the amount of memory required for installation on the hard disk in the chapter System requirements of the DDS 'Getting started' documentation. Please make sure before installing DDS that this amount of memory is still available on the hard disk.

Evaluation:
The DDS installation program does not correctly calculate the amount of memory required for installation on the hard disk. If the amount of memory described in System requirements (DDS 'Getting started' documentation) is still available on the hard disk, you can install all programs supplied together with DDS without problems.
