Which products are affected?
Starttec, all designs for multi-motor operation or change of the direction of rotation, up to and including SW version 1.3.
What happens?
When small motors (< 250 W) are operated at the starttec, the starttec can be destroyed if wired for change of the direction of rotation.
When does the problem occur?
The problem occurs if a motor (< 250 W) is wired to the starttec for changing the direction of rotation.

Check the wiring of the starttec
Short-term measures/recommendations?
None.
Evaluation:
According to its documentation the starttec motor starter can only be used for motors from 250 W to 5.5 kW (dependent on the mains voltage). Consequently, motors < 250 W cannot be operated until further notice.
