Behaviour of the new version?
If the system bus configuration tool is installed on a PC on which this tool is already available, the settings are not longer overwritten by the new default values of the installation program.

What happens?
The communication path (EMF2173IB, EMF2177IB,…) is set via the system bus configuration tool. The selection of the communication path determines which PC hardware uses which baud rate and which parameter channel is active.
When does the problem occur?
If the system bus configuration tool is installed on a PC on which this tool is already available, the existing settings are overwritten by the new default values of the installation program.
Possible diagnostics?
The faulty behaviour occurs if settings in the system bus configuration tool have been parameterised to Lenze factory default settings after another installation of the system bus configuration tool.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
The settings which have been overwritten can be readjusted by resetting the parameters in the system bus configuration tool.
