Function description
Extension of the library by the following function blocks (FB) used for parameter setting:

• L_IOParAIAOModule: FB for parameterising the signal function of the module '2/2 analog input/output'
• L_IOParCounterDIModule: FB for parameterising the counter function of the module '1*counter/16*digital inputs'
• L_IOParSSIModule: FB for parameterising the SSI evaluation of the module 'SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface)'

Extension of the library by the following function blocks (FB) used for the process data control:

• L_IOCounterDIModuleDataToIO: FB for sending process data to the module '1*counter/16*digital inputs'
• L_IOCounterDIModuleDataFromIO: FB for receiving process data from the module '1*counter/16*digital inputs'
• L_IOSSIModuleDataToIO: FB for sending process data to the module 'SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface)'
• L_IOSSIModuleDataFromIO: FB for receiving process data from the module 'SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface)'

You can download the files 'DDS_Funktionsbibliothek_IOSystemIP20_V11.zip' in the article DDS-Function block library for IO-System IP20 Firmware V1.1 (200414699). Store the zip file locally on your PC => Execute the installation file 'Setup_DDS_IOSytstemV0100.exe'.
The files are automatically installed in the subfiles of the Drive PLC Developer Studio (DDS) software when execution the installation files.

Applications
By using the function block in combination with PLC products an automatic parameterisation of the IO system can be carried out when switching on the machine. If service becomes necessary the modules can be exchanged without addition effort.
