What happens?
After an information message has been activated, the H510 keypad does not react anymore, neither if touch keys are pressed (e. g. to change a page) nor if values are entered.
When does the problem occur?
If an HMI project has been created using an older HMI Designer version and is reopened with the HMI Designer version 1.5, the alarm and message symbols may be outside the visible part of the HMI display (on the edge of the housing).
Possible diagnostics?
The wrong position of the alarm and message symbol is indicated in the menu Configuration>Project settings.
Short-term measures / recommendations?
Check the position of the alarm and message symbol using the menu item Configuration>Project settings and correct it, if necessary.
Evaluation:
If a later version of the HMI designer is used, indicating an alarm or information message can lead to the above-mentioned behaviour. This function restriction can be immediately detected while the machine is commissioned.
