Applications
The 2176IB module is used for electrically isolating two segments of a CAN network. As a result, EMC interferences evoked by equalising currents are avoided. The bus terminator is integrated into the repeater.
Function description
The voltage insulation between the two CAN networks (CAN1 and CAN2) has been increased to 1000 V according to the standard EN 60950 'International safety standard for information technology equipment'.
