Which products are affected?
Function restriction eliminated on the 9300EP servo positioning controller as of versions V2.5 and V6.1.

In the relative positioning mode infinite manual positioning was so far only possible if no homing had taken place yet (POS-REF-OK = LOW).
Now infinite manual positioning is always possible in the relative positioning mode, irrespective of POS-REF-OK. In the absolute positioning mode (C1210 = 0 or 2) infinite manual positioning is still only possible if the homing position is not known (POS-REF-OK = LOW).
Possible diagnostics?
With manual positioning the drive remains stationary when the position limit has been reached.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
When the position limit has been reached, briefly reset the 'manual positioning' signal and reactivate.
Evaluation:
Infinite manual positioning is practically only of use in the relative positioning mode (C1210 = 1).
