Faulty Touch Probe detection

Which products are affected?

9300EI/ET with software versions 2.3 und 6.1

How is the reaction?

The Touch Probe signal at the digital input E4 is sporadically not detected.

When does the problem occur?

When the EMC conditions are unfavourable and no resolver is used as feedback system, the drive does not detect the Touch Probe input E4, although the controller displays a High Signal at the digital input E4 in the controller.

Possible diagnostics?

Comparison of the system variables 'MCTRL_bActTPReceived_b' (the value applies to only one cycle and is therefore supposed to be stored!) and 'DIGIN_bIn4_b'. In case of an error the variable 'MCTRL_bActTPReceived_b' shows no High Signal.

Short-term measures / recommendations?

In order to reduce the errors the screening in the drive system should be optimised (e. g. separate screen connection of the control cables). If the error occurs, the complete voltage supply (mains and 24VDC) is supposed to be switched off. After switching on the detection works again.
