What happens?
Although the negative signal (C0912 = 1) has been activated for the touch probe input (terminal X5/E4) the touch probe responses on both signals. After several homing operations with function block L_REF the input E4 does not respond to the touch probe signal anymore.
When does the problem occur?
The homing modes 0, 1, 8 or 9 are set at the input 'byHomingMode' of function block L_REF. The homing function is carried out by means of a homing switch (TP-Select: C0911 = 1). The negative signal of the touch probe signal is activated (C0912 = 1).
Possible diagnostics?
None.
Short-term measures/recommendations?
The error only occurs if a control reset will be carried out via the Drive PLC Developer Studio software. In order to avoid this error carry out a mains connection of the control instead of the control reset.
