Must mains power be applied to the i500 drive to program or upgrade firmware?
Answer:
No. Using the optional USB Interface Module I5MADU0000000S (or the built in USB interface on the i550 Protec) with Lenze Easy aplication software, the control section is supplied power via the USB port. This allows programing and FW upgrading without power to the drive input.
