Description PS04: Invalid MCI par. set [xx.0144.00004]

Question:

What exactly does the error PS04: Invalid MCI par.set [xx.0144.00004] mean?
When is the error triggered?
How can the error be reset?

Answer:
The parameter set saved to the memory module is incompatible to the communication module. The incompatibility occurs under the following conditions:
  • A communication module is attached to a brand-new inverter. When the inverter is switched on, PS04 is triggered because the parameter set does not include any communication parameters.
  • A wrong communication module is attached to an inverter containing communication parameters.
    • A Powerlink communication module is attached to an inverter with Profinet communication parameters.
  • Different FW versions of the same communication module. Communication parameters have to distinguish between the two versions.

· When saving the parameter set, the communication parameters are adjusted to the attached communication module. The error must be reset.
