Restoring a backup with a Windows license other than the Windows license of the p500

Question:
What happens when restoring a backup in the p500 panel controller with the Windows license of the backup differing from the license of the p500?

Answer:
p500 panel controllers coming with version 3.10 or higher have a Windows "Prof" (Professional) license. Older controllers have a Windows "Core" license.

The Windows license of the p500 is indicated on the license sticker on the back of the device and in the typecode:
P50GAP_0300C4G_XXX-02S13_15000: 3=Core license
P50GAP_0300C4G_XXX-02S14_15000: 4=Prof license

Backups of a p500 with Core license can be restored on a p500 with Prof license. In this case, the Windows functionality is not extended, but still corresponds to the functionality of the Core license.

Backups of a p500 with Prof license cannot be restored on a p500 with Core license. In this case, the following error message appears when Backup&Restore tries to restore the backup:
ERROR: illegal license! The system is unchanged! - Remove "Backup&Restore"-medium and restart!
Furthermore, Backup&Restore will create a "Log.txt" file in the "Backup" directory on the USB stick and enter the error message in this file.
