Error message ¨1.2.102 Selected control system could not be opened¨ when connecting ETCMMI with ETC

Question:
Why do I get the error message '1.2.102 Selected control system could not be opened' (see attached screen shot) although the TCP/IP settings are correct and a response to a 'ping' to the control system is received?

Answer:
The identifier of the control system to be addressed does not correspond to the identifier in the gateway (see the chapters '*delpmmi.ini* configuration file' and 'ETC-MMI gateway' in the documentation).

Example:
In the 'delpmmi.ini' configuration file, you will find the identifier nc=ETC1 in the section [config] and in the 'Mmigtway.ini' configuration file for the gateway, the name for the configured connection in section [UdpConn#] is e. g. Name=CNC1.
One of these entries must be changed accordingly.
