Control board not operated in spite of 24 V supply module

Question:
The control board of the 9300 drive controller is supplied by 24 V between the terminals X5/59 (+24 V) and X5/39 (GND). Nevertheless, there is no LED shining on the drive control and communication with the control board is not possible. The drive controller is not supplied by mains voltage (e. g. 400 V).

Answer:
For supplying the control board a minimum current of approx. 300 mA is required. If additionally there are digital outputs, feedback systems or a master frequency output, the current consumption can increase to approx. 1 A. This current must be made available to the control board by the 24 V-power supply. Please check, if your 24 V-mains supply is dimensioned for this current / if at the power supply the current has been limited.
