Maximum current of an analog output channel in the measuring range -10 V ... +10 V

Question:

What is the maximum mA for each single analog output channel in the voltage range -10 V to +10 V?

Answer:

The maximum current can be calculated according to Ohm's law from the maximum  voltage and the minimum input resistance of the actuators.

Imax = max. voltage / min. actuator resistance = 10 V / 1 kOhm = 10 mA

For four channels this results in 40 mA. The current assumption of the module is 200 mA. The difference of 160 mA is internally required by the module.
