GDCeasy, application for 9300 POS or CAM

Question:

Can GDCeasy be used for configuration and parameter setting of 9300 drive controller with technology functions?

Answer:

The application of GDCeasy, especially for the 9300 EP positioning controller and the 9300 EK cam controller, instead of the regular GDC full version is generally possible, however, we do not recommend it for these controllers.

Compared to the GDC full version GDCeasy is reduced by essential functions and features, see article 20020717.

GDCeasy can display all existing codes of the drive controllers via the assigned device description file (*.pdb), the important 'dialogs' for the safe and comfortable operation are, however, missing (e. g. the dialog 'programming' for the positioning controller for creating the positioning program).
