HMI, sensitive area of touch screen operating units
Question:
What does the compiler fault indication 'sensible area overwritten by another field' mean?
Answer:
The touch screen operator units H510 and H520are operated not by a keypad but by a sensitive display which is divided in lines and columns, which form a raster.
H510: 20x8 cells with a raster size of 12x16 pixels
H520: 40x30 cells with a raster size of 16x16 pixels
The fault indication 'sensible area overwritten by another field' is displayed, if during positioning of the touch keys / fields with the attribute 'input enabled' it was not considered that
the touch keys / fields are not allowed to overlap,
the touch keys / fields do not use the same cells (see figure).
Via the menu of the HMI designer the touch raster can be made visible. The touch keys / fields can be easily arranged at this raster.
Remark: The fields can be positioned space-saving to one side, if they are clearly bigger than the selected operator panel (H510/H520).
