The startup parameters of an EtherCAT slave cannot be changed

Fixed as of:

Behavior in the new version:

Description of Behavior:
The parameters ona device’s “Start Parameters” tab cannot be changed. Although a dialog box for setting the values opens when you double-click a start parameter or click <Edit>, andthe values can be changed there, it is not possible to confirm this dialog with <OK> to apply the changed values.

Under what conditions does this behavior occur?
This behavior occurs when editing the startup parameters of an EtherCAT slave.

Affected products:
PLC Designer version 3.24 and later

Short-term measures:
After opening the dialog for editing a startup parameter, first select an entry from the object directory (the list at the top of the dialog). You can then change the values in the Name, Index, Subindex, Bit Length, and Value fields. Click <OK> to apply the changes to the selected startup parameter.

Assessment/Recommendations:
After the controller is powered on, it transfers the values from the startup parameter list to the respective devices and parameters (e.g., 9400) via EtherCAT. Due to this functional limitation, startup parameters can only be modified using the procedure described under “Short-Term Measures.”
