What happens?
The SoftMotion drive indicates the error message:
SMC_DI_LINEAR_AXIS_OUTOFRANGE
When does this behaviour occur?
The above SoftMotion error message may occur when the controller is restarted and the L_SMC_Multiturn function block is used in the project.
Which products are affected?
Library: L_SM3_DriveUtil V3.6 and higher
Short-term measures:
Call the MC_Reset function block (SM3_Basic library) in the PLC project to reset the error message. After this, the Motion axis can be normally traversed.
Evaluation/recommendations:
When using the L_SMC_Multiturn FB, the SoftMotion may indicate an error when the controller is restarted. The error message can be reset by using the MC_Reset FB.
