With the current version EtherCAT star distributors are supported.

An exception occurs.

When using EtherCAT star couplers, the PLC Designer may behave in an unexpected way (e.g. an exception may occur).

Which products are affected?

PLC Designer V3.0 and higher

Short-term measures:

Do not use EtherCAT star couplers.

Evaluation/recommendations:

The PLC Designer does not support EtherCAT star couplers.
