Lecom A/B protocol with 9400 Servo Drive System

Question:
Can the 9400 Servo Drives be operated with the Lecom A/B protocol?

Answer:
No, the Lecom A/B protocol, physically based on an RS 232 or RS 485 communication, is not supported anymore by the 9400 servo inverters. For 9400 some new field bus systems (Ethernet Powerlink, Profinet IO etc.) have been developed in order to realize the current customer demands.
