i950 TA CiA402 Advanced: Parameters of the motion and encoder axes are not saved on the controller SD card

Removed from:
Servo-Inverter i950 FW:   from  V01.15.xx         (in planning)
Behavior of the new version:

Description of the behavior:
Online changed parameters in the CiA_Motion_Axis or Encoder_Axis (e.g. 0x500D:48 QSP Application deceleration) of the i950 TA CiA402 Advanced are not exported to the parameter file that the motion controller uploads when the parameters of the EtherCAT slaves are saved there.

The next time the slave parameters are downloaded from the controller, the parameters will contain the original values again.

Conditions under which the behavior occurs:

  • Using an i950 TA CiA402 Advanced (0x4000=1) as an EtherCAT slave under a Lenze Motion Controller
  • Use case: 'Save parameters' is executed on the controller via the PLC Designer. This initiates the export of the parameter values of the i950. This export only includes the parameters of the base firmware and not those of the CiA_Motion_Axis and Encoder_Axis.

Affected products:
Servo Inverter i950 FW

Short-term measures,
Recommendations:

Online changes to the i950 parameters should only be made from the PLC Designer and not in parallel  with the EASY Starter. To finally save the settings both in the PLC Designer project and in the parameter files of the slaves on the controller SD card, a boot project should be created.
