L_MC1P: Reset error function affects the current movement (corrected from V03.26.00)

Corrected from:
Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) from V03.26.00
             (Update via Package Manager)

Response of the new version:
The error reset function now has no influence on the calculation of the target position of a positioning.
When starting a new relative positioning while the positioning is still active, the target position for the new positioning is always calculated on the basis of the current position, regardless of the reset function.

What happens?
Under special circumstances, the target position for a newly commissioned positioning is erroneously calculated not on the basis of the current position, but on the basis of the target position of the current movement profile that has not yet been reached. The positioning is then carried out to an incorrect target position.

When does the behaviour occur?
The behaviour described above occurs under the following circumstances:
  • A motion profile (any positioning, but no velocity mode) is still active and
  • the reset error function is executed (MC_Reset, ABC-Reset) and
  • a new relative positioning is started.

Which products are affected?
Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion)

Short-term measures / evaluation / recommendations:
The following remedy is possible to prevent the occurrence:
Application-wise, ensure that the reset function is not executed during a running positioning.
