EtherNet/IP: The set reaction in case of I/O communication failure does not work (corrected from V01.07.04)

Corrected from:
Servo-Inverter i950 FW:  from V01.07.04

Response of the new version:
EtherNet/IP:
The set reaction in case of I/O communication failure is now executed in the inverter independently of the set TA.

What happens?
EtherNet/IP:
The reaction set under parameter 0x2859:001 in case of I/O communication failure ('Implicit Message') is not executed.

When does the behaviour occur?
  • i950: The 'TA AC Drive Profile' (0x4000=5) is not set, but another TA (parameter 0x4000 != 5).

Which products are affected?
Servo-Inverter i950 FW

Short-term measures / Evaluation / recommendations:
If I/O communication via EtherNet/IP fails, the received cyclical output data of the master (scanner) are automatically set to "0" by the drive controller. As a result, the controller inhibit is set in the inverter when the inverter is controlled via EtherNet/IP.
If the above-mentioned reaction is applicatively necessary, it is recommended to use the new i950 FW from V01.07.04.
