L_TS2P_SyncAndCorrection: Limitation of the marker error

What happens?
In set-up mode, a mark error can be up to half a cycle length. Depending on the time of occurrence of the mark, the correction of the mark error can take several cycles.

When does the behaviour occur?
If a first mark occurs within a correction window, the mark error is only corrected within the next correction window. Under certain circumstances, the correction window is smaller than the marker error. In this case, the correction needs one more cycle.

The behaviour occurs when the coupling is first engaged and then the teach process of the marker window is started. When the window is taught, the marker error is also determined. Since the master position may not jump in engaged state, the position error is reduced via the correction window. This process can take several register cycles, depending on the parameterisation.

Which products are affected?

i950 Servo-Inverter with TA SyncAndCorrection

Short-term measures:

Evaluation / recommendations:
The behaviour of the customer can be remedied by a different control sequence of the functions.
If the teaching process is started first and the engagement request is only set afterwards, the guidance position is also set to the correct position at the same time as the marker window is successfully taught. A subsequent engagement process then engages directly to the perfect engagement position.

Note: No change is planned for this behaviour!
