L_MC1P: i950 load encoder (slot B): encoder zero pulse not usable as touch probe source

Corrected from:
Library: L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic (FAST Motion) from V03.24.00.81
                      (Update via Package Manager)

Response of the new version:
The encoder zero pulse of the load encoder (slot B) can be selected as TP source for homing in 0x500A:80, now.
Furthermore, a TP detection for the encoder axis of the load encoder (slot B) can be commissioned in the PLC project via the FB MC_Touchprobe and the structure MC_TriggerRef.

Note:
The L_MC1P library is used within the i950 firmware (FW) and a fix within the L_MC1P library does not take effect immediately in the i950. This requires an update of the i950 FW to a new software version that includes the new L_MC1P.
See version overview in the following version information for the i950 FW: Link

What happens?
L_MC1P 'MC_TouchProbe':
The encoder zero pulse of a load encoder (slot B) connected to the i950 cannot be selected/used in the application.
This means that referencing to the zero pulse of the position encoder, for example, cannot be carried out.

When does the behaviour occur?
  • Inverter i950 and
  • Use of the encoder zero pulse from the load encoder (slot B) as a touch probe source in the application.
Which products are affected?
Library:  L_MC1P_MotionControlBasic  (FAST Motion)

Short-term measures / Evaluation / Recommendations:
An applicative measure to use the zero pulse from the load generator as a touch probe source is not known.
Only the zero pulse of the motor encoder (slot A) is available.
