What happens?
The following error message appears, when starting the EtherCAT bus:
CoE 0x____:_ - SDO Abort 'object does not exist in object directory (0x06020000)'.
In addition, the following warning appears in the logbook:
xxxx (____): Different configuration. Revision check failed (0x_ / 0x_).
The EtherCAT bus still changes to "operational". Some parameters do, however, not have the configured values.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour may occur if a device with a higher firmware version than the firmware version of the real device is appended to the EtherCAT master in the PLC project. In this case, the device in the PLC project may have parameters with which the real device is not equipped.
Which products are affected?
c300 controller from V3.8
3200C controller from V3.3.2
p300 panel controller from V3.8
p500 panel controller from V3.3.2
Short-term measures:
Ensure that the firmware version of the real device used is the same or higher as/than the firmware version of the device in the PLC project.
Evaluation/recommendations:
The EtherCAT master of the Lenze controller ignores that the physically connected slave device has a lower firmware version than the configured device. Devices with a higher firmware version usually have a greater scope of functions. This function restriction concerns devices into which the controller does not load any firmware, e.g. the I/O1000 EPM-S130 bus coupler.
