While jogging via manual control function in engineering tool (Easy Starter, PLC Designer) it will be avoided that the following error will increase. The set position will be set to actual position cyclically.
What happens?
Manual control function in engineering tool (Easy Starter, PLC Designer):
After completion of manual control, the following error monitoring responds and the "Following error" error message (20503) is displayed.
When does this behaviour occur?
The behaviour occurs when using the 'Manual control' function in the engineering tool (button in the menu bar).

Short-term measures, Evaluation/recommendations:
Reset the "Following error" error message after completing manual control.
To avoid the occurrence of the error message, the following error monitoring can be deactivated when using the 'Manual control' function, if necessary.
After resetting the erroneous "Following error" error message, the axis can be normally operated again.
