LS_MultiEncoder: additional encoder types can be evaluated

Functional description

 

The MultiEncoder interface has been extended for the evaluation of further encoder types.

 
  • C422=3 absolute value encoder (external) Via the new wActPosExternalLW and wActPosExternalHW function block inputs, a free position source (e.g. of the fieldbus interface such as CAN) can be evaluated in the same way as an SSI absolute value encoder. Now settings such as the material measure, specification of the singleturn/multiturn resolution, position offset, etc. are applied to this position information.
  • C422=6, 7, 8 With the selections 6,7,8 position encoder (Hiperface, external, SSI), the possibility of directly linking a position encoder to the "MotionControlKernel" has been added, where the position supplied by the encoder selected is directly used as the actual position. Only code C1112/1 "LS_MultiEncoder: position offset" can influence the actual position supplied. Furthermore, by the selection of these encoders, the reference is automatically known and HomePosAvailable is set as long as no encoder error occurs. When the corresponding error cause has been eliminated and the encoder has been re-initialised successfully, the reference is automatically reset.

An evaluation of fieldbus encoders and a simplified use of position encoders which directly reflect the measuring system of the machine, like for example linear encoders in an SRU application, is now possible.
